Moerlein Lager House

For my meal I chose the German sausage platter. Now as a native German, I am always suspicious of so-called German food, because it is usually horrible. But I love the entire Cunningham Group and figured if anybody can do it right, it would be one of their restaurants. And I was right. While it wasn't a quite traditional German meal, it was really really well done and simply delicious and captured the German spirit.

The meals and service were ahead of my expectations. I truly loved the atmosphere of this spot. Great spot to take the family out for lunch.

The first time I ate here back in October I was not happy. I am glad I gave it another chance. The Salmon Oscar was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. Delicious!! We finished dinner with Smores Lava Cake! Server was friendly and the Restaurant was very clean! Will return soon!

The food is amazing!!!! We had the Moer Burger, the pretzels bread app, and my son had a cheeseburger, and I had the Colbert can chicken sandwich! We really enjoyed the pretzel appetizer and my husband loved the burger!!! I tried their coleslaw it was great! The chicken sandwich was a bit mushy but had a nice flavor! Overall the view from the second floor inside is beautiful and the staff are great!

The staff was extremely accommodating to a very short notice group outing from work. You should definitely call ahead to plan that kind of thing - but regardless, I was very grateful to everyone for their flexibility. Otherwise, beer's good, food's good!

Great food and beer!!! I ate so much of the pulled pork poutine appetizer that I took my entire sandwich home. Plus our view from the table upstairs was perfect! We could see the river front.

What a great place! My wife and I had a really nice dinner there on a Friday evening when visiting town to attend a wedding. The food was great. My only quibble was how LOUD it was in the dining area. It's both a restaurant and bar though so that's to be expected I guess. Maybe they could add some kind of sound deadening material to take a little of the edge off the noise. But don't let this dissuade you from going there. It's a great restaurant with a great view and, most of all, great food.

It’s New Years Eve, and we had Kelly as our server. We know holidays like New Years Eve are crazy but Kelly really displayed a level of regard and attentiveness to every table she had while managing to stay efficient. She’s kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the menu. We highly recommend Kelly. Also, Lindsay, a manager, came to our table and she really helped finish off our experience. She is very personable and you can tell she loves creating a memorable experience for anyone who walks through that door. She also really believes in her employees. I recommend this place. The beer selection was great (which explains why a lot of the stouts and porters we wanted sold out) and the food is SO good. I recommend the steak frites. I look forward to trying more items on the menu. 5 starts !

Visited on a quiet Tuesday night when most other places were closed. Ordered a cheese/meat board which was good, although the smoked salmon was cooked. Prosciutto was cut too thick. Ordered the chicken beer can melt, which was filled with too much cheese, and sandwich should have been pressed. Nevertheless, Jacob offered us the option to order something else, which was fantastic! He was a great server from start to finish and should be recognized! Long story short, great service but food left something to be desired.

Fantastic place to eat something when in a rush. The customer service is speedy, rates are affordable, good ambience. I highly recommend this place

This was my first time to Moerlein Lager House and all I can say is WOW! The location was amazing-right next to the baseball stadium and hockey stadium. The views inside are beautiful as well. The craft beers were delicious and the waiter was fabulous with his recommendations. We had kids in our party too and he catered to both the adults and kids. I’m a vegetarian and had the squash Wellington and it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We all tried the trio appetizer and shared the blueberry cobbler And cinnamon cheesecake and it was all so delish!! Josh was our server and he was fantastic! I can’t wait to come back!

What can I say about Moerlein’s? Wow!! I had a fenomenal meal and awesome drinks. Staff was perfect, the manager Tanner checked up on us and was great. Food was all perfectly cooked and presented. They had their own twists to standard fair which was perfect. Original deserts with some great Scotch ended a perfect evening!!

The food was quite good, I loved the great selection of brews. Our server could of been better, It felt like he didnt want to be there. When we got our check there was extra things on our check, he took them off without question but still.

Great for game days. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Braised short rib grilled cheese has delicious but a bit heavy - as to be expected. Sweet potato chips are good. Wings weren't bad either. Soup was a little runny. Great beer selection. Had the Festival Bock- would drink again!

Great food and atmosphere! Nashville Chicken sandwich was top notch! Prompt, friendly service. The homemade sweet potato chips are the best I've had!!! Will definitely be back soon!

Good food and friendly service. Nice view as well. It’s pretty crowded so you’ve either got to be ready to wait or plan ahead if you wanna go hear on a typical weekend.

Great price for fabulous flavor I recommend the steak. Polite service nice views, not crowded.

Extensive list of beer options made in-house, including at least 5 IPAs, plus sours, stouts, etc. Nicely curated boards. Great view and convenient to the ballparks. Overall, classy dinner and beer spot.

Fish n chips.... amazing. Barbarossa beer is the smoothest dark beer I've ever had. Cool atmosphere. Highly recommend

I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. I was expecting a breast of chicken on the bun. Instead got three tiny chicken strips.Asked my bartender is this correct, his response, at least u got chicken. Seriously...

Most delicious burger I have ever had in my short 20 years of life. We had a super sweet waiter and not a long wait time. Gorgeous view of the river and skyline!

The food was very good. The German sausage platter was authentic and warm. The atmosphere was inviting and the view of the river was awesome!Our server Elissa left something to be desired. She was curt, and not friendly. Otherwise, 5 stars!
